"I got through my pregnancy safely!"

 

I started training with Diane several weeks after finding out I was pregnant in May 2003.  I wanted to make sure I did what was best not only for my baby but also for myself.  Having worked out for many years, I felt good about going into my pregnancy in shape, but didn't know enough to workout properly through the pregnancy process.  From day one Diane was there for me, coaching me on how my body would be changing, how different ligaments and muscles would be affected, diet ideas to make sure I was getting adequate nutrition, and basically offering a listening ear.  As the baby grew, Diane helped me to understand the importance of tapering off weight amounts, and which exercises needed to be modified as I neared my due date. 

 

Once Elizabeth was born, I gradually worked back into training and am happy to say that after 3 short months I was once again at my original weight.  My doctor commented on how easy my labor and delivery went, and thinks it had a great deal to do with my workouts.  I am so grateful to have Diane as my trainer.  She really looks out for what's best for me and my personal training goals.
